School Overview

Approved as a single district program by the Colorado Department of Education, we are proud to be the virtual high school in the St. Vrain Valley School District, serving students in grades 9-12.  SVVHS provides a personalized learning environment that allows students to achieve academic success utilizing high-quality instruction and curriculum provided by FLVS Global School. Flexibility to choose when and where to learn affords students with the opportunity to complete school daily at a time of their choice. Courses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. When students are in town, they are expected to attend onsite daily.  This provides structure, support and success!

An ongoing system for consistent communication and follow-through builds a successful relationship between the highly qualified and certified FLVS teachers, our SVVHS students and parents. Students are expected to check in onsite on a daily basis with their SVVHS mentor.

Additionally, students have the opportunity of being able to take classes such as Band, Choir or Orchestra at their school of residence or attending the school district’s Career Elevation & Technology Center and Innovations Center.  Concurrent Enrollment at Front Range Community College, AIMS Community College, and Metro State University is also available to juniors and first-year seniors in the fall and spring semesters.
