Women’s Auto Care Clinic
The Automotive program at the Career Elevation and Technology Center (CETC) is hosting a Women’s Auto Care Clinic on February 8. See the attached flyer for session times and registration. Share this with friends and family!

RIDE Longmont
RIDE Longmont is a new on-demand public transit option offering cheap and reliable rides to just about anywhere in Longmont. RIDE is active Mondays-Saturdays, 6am – 8pm, and Sundays 9am – 5pm. There is also service to and from the new mobility hub at I-25/CO 119. Individuals can request a ride through the app (Android and iOS) or by calling 970-538-9097. Learn more here.
School Hours
As a reminder, SVVHS closes at 1:30 pm on Fridays. Please make sure rides are available at that time so that no one has to wait in the cold. Thank you!
Counseling Corner:
- Just a reminder that our final Ascent Parent Meeting is this Thursday, 1/30. This will be held at the Innovation Center at 5:30pm.
- Also, the deadline for students to complete their Ascent Application is 2/13.
- Information on local scholarships will be posted soon.
- Seniors: Next Monday, February 3, we will have a guest at our Senior Meeting. Tammy Palombo with the St. Vrain Education Foundation will be here to discuss and answer questions about scholarship applications. This is a fabulous opportunity, so please make every effort to attend.
- Reminder: Before graduation, you need to complete the final ICAP activity with Becky. Make an appointment with her before it’s too late!
- CETC Classes! If you’re interested in CETC options for next year, chat with Becky ASAP.
Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held February 11 and 12. You can sign up here to meet with your student’s mentor. Conference times are 3-7 pm on Tuesday, and 1-5 pm on Wednesday.
Practice P/SAT
A district-wide practice PSAT and SAT will take place on Wednesday, 12 February. Students need to be here in the building at 8am that day. Underclassmen will not need to complete assignments; Seniors will still need to complete assignments.
