The presentations will include local experts and local teens to support parents, teens, and trusted adults with information, skills, and opportunities to get involved.
Upcoming Holidays: Instructors will be out of the office; however, students will still have access to their course.
Thanksgiving | November 22, 2023 – November 24, 2023 |
Winter Break | December 22, 2023 – January 5, 2024 |
REQUIRED ATTENDANCE: I’m writing to reiterate that students who choose our school have signed a commitment to attend 3 meetings/classes a week.
- Grade Level Meetings
- CommUNITY of Strength
- Test Prep (9-11th)
Students, you are expected to be onsite for these every week.
Parents, please be sure to check in with your students to be sure they are attending all meetings.
Students will be expected to attend the first meeting that they are onsite. Unfortunately, we’ve had students skipping the first opportunities, stating that they will attend later in the week and then not following through. Therefore, from here forward, all students will be required to attend the first opportunity for which they are onsite for the week.
Late start: 12/6. School opens at 10:15
All eCredit classes must be complete by NOON on 12/21 to allow for grading.
If you are planning to attend a different school in January, please let your mentor know as soon as possible.
Student Council needs your feedback!
We’re looking at having a spring formal and a yearbook this year. If you’d be interested in those things, check in with Becky, Kyra, Leslie, or any other member of council.
We also need some ideas for fundraisers (see above activities). If you’ve got a great idea, we’d love to hear it!
