SVVSD Job and Career Fair
The 4th annual CETC and IC Job and Career Fair will be held on April 28, 9:00 – 3:00. There will be two sessions, 9am–11:30am and 12:30pm–3pm with an hour for lunch.
This event is open to all SVVSD high school students, with Juniors and Seniors highly encouraged to attend both locations. Students will have the opportunity to:
- apply for jobs and/or summer and fall internshiphs
- meet colleges and employers
- learn more about different career pathways
- students who visit both locations will be entered into a free giveaway

Vaccination Information
Information about state-mandated vaccinations, including frequently asked questions, can be found in this document. For St. Vrain Virtual High School, our MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination rate is 93.4%.
Celebration of Excellence
Formerly called Tribute to Teachers, this year’s Celebration of Excellence will be held April 11 at the Byron R. White Club (Folsom Field, CU campus). Tickets are $35 per person and include heavy hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary drink ticket during the cocktail hour. Additional beverages will be available for purchase, credit card only. Tickets are available here. Come join us celebrate Becky Olson, the SVVHS Teacher of the Year!
All Things Testing
- The deadline to earn 0.5 credit for Test Prep is Thursday, April 10. All work must be completed by that date in order to receive credit.
- The SAT will be administered to all juniors on Tuesday, April 15. Students should report to the building no later than 8:00 am with a fully charged iPad.
- The PSAT will be administered to all freshmen and sophomores on Wednesday, April 16. Students should report to the building no later than 8:00 am with a fully charged iPad.
- Any students who need bus transportation need to complete this form by April 10.
- Students who are not participating in either the SAT or PSAT will be responsible for completing assignments as usual for that day.
- The CMAS for juniors will be administered on Friday, April 18. Juniors need to arrive no later than 8:00 am with a fully charged iPad. This will be a regular school day for freshmen, sophomores, and seniors with a regular bus schedule.
St. Vrain Art Show
St. Vrain’s Unframed Art Show live at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall from April 15-20Please join us at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall from April 15-20 for the public viewing of artworks from all grade levels and schools across the St. Vrain Valley. Different mediums will be featured including ceramics, digital art/photography, drawing, jewelry making, metalwork, mixed media, painting, and printmaking.

Celebration of Kindness

From April 7 to the 25th, we are celebrating kindness here at SVVHS. For each act of kindness you perform, you will receive a purple ticket. At the end of the celebration, we will randomly draw tickets for a raffle of some really cool stuff.
How can you earn tickets? Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- being kind to a peer or adult in the building
- completed the Community Connectedness survey
- nominating a senior for the Kindness Counts Award
- completing English Test Prep successfully
- completing Math Test Prep successfully
- site visit volunteer
You can earn your first ticket by sharing a link to a funny/cute video featuring dogs, babies, and/or otters with Stacey, Becky, Holly, or Lisa.
